Assistant Technical Manager - Fresh produce

Our Client is an established & successful Grower and Distributor of Fresh Produce, supplying to an exciting customer base across retail, wholesale, and food service arenas. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team as�Assistant Technical Manager.

Reporting to and working alongside the Technical Manager, the position of Assistant Technical Manager offers the opportunity to take responsibility for the implementation of company Food Safety, Quality Management and Supplier Approval systems, Health & Safety policies, internal Audits to BRC standard, Product Specifications and liaising with colleagues in preparation for external Audits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading supplier of Fresh and Prepared products, working across all departments and gaining exposure to both suppliers and customers.

We require;

Experience gained in a Technical / Technologist position, with the ability to manage; H&S, QMS, Auditing, BRC, HACCP, Food Safety

Fresh Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure, with manufacturing / high-care experience proving advantageous

Confident with quality / technical systems & procedures, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Attractive Salary; dependent on experience; c�30-35k

Location; North Kent

Monday to Friday, occasional weekend morning
