Assistant Technical Coordinator

Fawkes and Reece are currently looking for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to work on RC, traditional and timber frame schemes for a UK leading Housing Developer working within a new Investment Partnership based in Cambridgeshire.

The Role

You will be reporting to a Senior Technical Coordinator - servicing one of two sites consisting of RC frame and traditional housing, of up to 200 units across multiple blocks. The first site is a 150 unit scheme of flats and houses and the second one is a 184 unit scheme across 4 blocks.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Working towards a relevant professional qualification to either Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5 CDM for Principal Designers awareness
• Experience of assisting with coordinating and managing the design team on a project/range of projects
• Ability to prioritise, negotiate, motivate, and communicate in order to ensure that the required objectives are met.
• Skills including, good time management, organised, numerate, participate in meetings, works well to deadlines, accuracy in all areas
• Aptitude to gain management skills in order to support trainee members of the team
• Passionate about customer satisfaction, house building and construction
• Awareness and basic experience of planning, financial and legal processes.
• Basic knowledge of BIM Level 2 including COBie data drops
• Understanding of Golden Thread requirements
• Contribute to the preparation of programmes for the project
