You will work in a mixed accounts and tax capacity, and have exposure to some excellent clients ranging from sole traders and small Ltd companies through to some significantly sized groups. Their clients are a mixture of both corporate and not-for-profit organizations. There are great prospects on offer in this leading firm of accountants.The firm we are working with is open to receiving CV candidates who currently work in an Assistant Manager capacity or an experienced senior looking to progress into an assistant manager position. Accounts Manager Duties:Building and maintaining relationships with clientsManaging a portfolio of owner-managed businesses made up of sole traders, Ltd companies, and LLPsReviewing and preparing statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and VAT returnsManaging the delivery of tax and accounts advisory projects and presenting the results to clientsIdentifying and evaluating risk management issuesIdentifying tax planning opportunities for clientsOverseeing and supporting the work of more junior members of the teamTake the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.RequirementsOur ideal candidate for this role will:Be ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA newly or part-qualified.Have some experience working with personal and capital gains tax (experience with inheritance tax, P11D forms, ATED returns, and trusts is desirable, but not essential)Have a strong interest in taxAptitude for delivering excellent customer serviceApproachable, with an ability to build strong working relationshipsGood verbal and written communication skills as they would be dealing directly with clientsBenefits£45,000+ dependent on experience and background, negotiable.Although this is advertised as a full-time vacancy, we are happy to be flexible and would consider anyone who needs to work around caring responsibilities, etc.The role can involve hybrid working. We’re very open to this, but the role will involve some office-based days.
