Assistant Shop Manager

2 May, 2024As the Assistant Shop Manager, you will be working directly with the Shop Manager and the team of incredible volunteers.Each of our shops has its own unique style and you will be responsible for maintaining our high quality reputation within the community. Not only will your work be helping to reduce vast amounts of waste going to landfill, but you’ll also be ensuring that we have the resources to continue providing expert care to those that need it most.Our retail teams cover the needs of their stores by working on a rota basis so this role will require weekend work, and flexibility. (Working 2 days over 7.) What will I be doing?
Supporting the Shop Manager to maximise store income and profits by delivering exceptional retail standards
Maintaining and promoting the highest standard of customer care
Creating eye-catching displays and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop Supporting the Shop Manager to engage and train volunteers to
assist in the running of the shop
Meeting gift aid conversion rates from people donating goods Support events held both in the shop (evenings) and the local community What skills are you looking for?
