As our new Revenue Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the Management Accountant, assisting with cash reconciliation and reporting, and working to continuously improve reporting and analysis.
The position is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Hampstead, North London. Three days in the office and two working from home.
As our Revenue Assistant, your day-to-day will consist of:
Daily cashbook posting for Sales and Private Hire bank accounts.
Completing bank reconciliations and providing a month-end summary.
Daily revenue posting and monitoring venues with any closing issues.
Overseeing weekly cash/float spreadsheet provided by venues.
Working closely and supporting venues to ensure cash processes are understood and consistently followed.
Monthly cash sales reconciliation for venues.
Completing daily money received to revenue reconciliations for all venues.
Preparing Money in Transit for the Line Manager and completing ledger settlements.
Working with Operations to improve in-venue processes.
Supporting with month-end routines and reporting.
Assisting with audit preparations and queries.
Raising invoices for different departments and liaising with customers for outstanding payments.
Ensuring receipts for invoices are allocated correctly.
Liaising with the Private Hire team for Monthly Reconciliations.
Providing Management with an Aged Debtors Report & Commentary.
HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU, KID.
To be our perfect Revenue Assistant, you’ll need:
At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within a multi-site business (Hospitality, Leisure, Retail, etc.)
Preferably AAT-qualified
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
Intermediate Excel skills, including XLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
Understanding of accruals & prepayments
First-class attention to detail and accuracy
