About the Role
City Social, the Michelin-starred restaurant located on Level 24 of Tower 42 in London, is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Under the guidance of our experienced Restaurant Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our establishment and further develop your leadership skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and guest relations, to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
Assist in training and mentoring front-of-house staff, providing guidance on service standards, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of menu items.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, ordering, and cost control measures to maximise profitability.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, seeking solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
Contribute to the development and implementation of promotional activities and special events to drive revenue and attract new customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine dining setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine service and menu offerings, is advantageous.
