What you will be doing
Support the Project Manager and Project/Senior Cost Consultant with all aspects of the project life cycle.
Responsible for supporting & learning about all pre, and post contract commercial activities.
Ensure that you support Commercial teams to deliver value for money and that fair and effective Commercial Management processes are implemented and maintained throughout the entire project
Liaise with & support the Procurement teams on the relevant procurement activities required for delivery in accordance with Procurement timelines
Support the undertaking of regular commercial reviews of both internal costs and external supplier costs and implement appropriate measures to manage any issues and mitigate risks
What they are looking for
Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management accredited by the RICS
Demonstration of self-management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure
Some knowledge of the different types of contracts
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate an ability to learn and develop
