Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Maidenhead - £30,000+

Wheatstone Solutions are working with a Residential developer looking to recruit an Assistant QS into the team.

The role will be based in both the office and at site for visits when required. Hours are 8 - 5, Monday to Friday.

Duties:

• Putting together tender return review sheets with the wider team


• Chasing tender returns with sub-contractors


• Setting up scope of works


• Attending meetings on sites


• Attending cost report meetings


• Updating budgets for site labour


• Carry out measurements for cost plans, budgeting, and checks 


• Review valuation applications

Skills Required:

• HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent qualification as well as previous experience or relevant degree


• Good Excel knowledge and understanding of formulas.


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to work to multiple deadlines
