The role
As an Assistant Project Planner you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be embedded within one of our key programmes or Gunnery project teams and be integral to achieving high-performance delivery to our customers. You will own and undertake project planning & scheduling activities and provide related support to wider project controls activities such as cost, risk, and performance management.
Day to day, you'll create, maintain, and own project delivery schedules, as well as:
Ensure the project team and related accountable owners have clear visibility of future scheduled activities and milestone to ensure on time delivery of all related work scopes.
Generate and circulate weekly and monthly schedule performance reports (including EVM), and associated analysis and narrative to inform management of progress, risks, and potential issues with the support of project controllers.
Provide related scheduling input into project risk reviews.
