Job Description

Under the management of the NI Project Managers, the provided service is accountable for the daily follow-up of activities in the NI program, with regular project reporting.

The scope of responsibilities covers both the Sizewell C (SZC) activities performed in the UK and in France, to cover the entire Nuclear Island (NI) scope.

The Sizewell C NI Assistant Project Manager service is accountable for the project progress follow-up of the NI program for the following activities:
• NI Auxiliaries
• NI Utilities
• Primary and Secondary circuit
• Electrical & Diesels
• Civils

The provided service will be responsible for:
• Support and close collaboration with the Senior Architects
• Steering of all activities on the NI Programme in conjunction with all the
stakeholders concerned

Suppliers
Employer – Nuclear New Build (NNB) / SZC• Monitor delivery and ensure that the project LOD (via Paladin) and project
schedule are up to date
• Implementation of the replication strategy from HPC to SZC for the NI
programme

Key duties, responsibilities and deliverables are as follows:
• Establishment of the monthly reporting for the NI Programme, which is
integrated into the RD reporting
• Maintaining a NI tracker list of open points, with regular progress follow-up with
client
• Identification and management of interfaces between NI Programme with the
other sequences.
• Monitor delivery and ensure that the project LOD (via Paladin) and project
schedule are up to date
• Organization of the progress meetings with NNB and management of interfaces
with NNB on all workstreams
• Management of contractual documentation to support the project manager
• Examination of NNB requests with the support of business services

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Degree in engineering, project management or other relevant subject,
• Previous experience of project control including:
o Cost control
o Governance & reporting (project KPIs)
o Project management
o Risk management
o Planning/scheduling
o Interface with document control and delivery
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken), ability to manage numerous interfaces, ability to synthesize, pragmatic approach,
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail,
• Team player with an open mind and a readiness to work on a multi-cultural context and with multiple stakeholders,
• Microsoft Office, especially excel,
• English: fluent.

Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Experience of working in a fast pace engineering project environment,
• MS Excel VBA experience,
• French language skills.
