Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Project Manager on behalf of a well-established Highways contractor to help deliver schemes across the North East
The company are experienced in delivering high profile works in Civils and Highways Technology schemes Nationwide.
Duties as an Assistant Project Manager will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
- Chairing weekly internal meetings, and client progress meetings
- Producing monthly reporting in line with contract requirements including commercial reports
- Providing Support to Supervisors and Operatives
- Writing RAMS and preparing Health & Safety Documentation, ensuring the H&S Procedures within the RAMs are implemented on site
- Developing procurement schedules, carrying out takeoffs for materials and organising deliveries to site
- Briefing Toolbox Talks and carrying out Site Safety Audits
- Carrying out appraisals, pay reviews and developing the team
Experience required as an Assistant Project Manager:
- Minimum of 5 years experience im Highways or Utilities
- Tier 2 or Subcontractor experience is desirable
- Based in or around the North East
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to �47,000 (DOE) plus generous package
