Assistant/ Trainee Project Manager
We currently looking for an Assistant/ Trainee Project Manager for a project located in city centre of Manchester. The successful individual will be site based and ideally have fit out experience. Scope of works: Cat A, Cat B and Minor S & C mods for Commercial Offices. Value of the project is around £9m.
Duties/responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
• Support Project Planning: Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects stay on track.
• Coordination: Collaborate with different teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
• Resource Management: Help manage project resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient utilization.
• Quality Control: Assist in monitoring and ensuring the quality of workmanship and materials meet established standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and work with the team to develop strategies for mitigation.
• Schedule Management: Help manage project schedules, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed.
• Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project expenses and comparing them to the budget, reporting any discrepancies.
• Client Communication: Support in maintaining positive relationships with clients by providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Problem Solving: Collaborate with the team to find solutions to unexpected challenges that may arise during the project
