Assistant Plant Nursery Manager

Madisons Recruitment are looking for an Assistant Plant Nursery Manager on a permanent basis located in Woodbridge, Suffolk

Our client are a wholesale plant nursery specialising in trees and shrubs. 

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Nursery Manager and assisting with the nursery growth and production plans
• Supervision of the growing team on a daily basis 
• Ensuring records are maintained and their database is all up to date  
• Supervising the nursery team whilst they pick the correct plants for the customers collection 
• Preparing plant stock for plant shows
• Coaching and mentoring a team of people 

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and knowledge within the horticultural industry 
• At least 2 years experience working in a wholesale plant nursery 
• Experience in leading a team
• PA1 and PA6 qualifications desirable 
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
