Position Overview
Vantage is looking for a keen, ambitious, driven Planning Assistant in EMEA to assist with portfolio planning across the EMEA program. You will join and be supported by the Vantage team to help enable Vantage’s ability to profoundly affect and accelerate speed to market. You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the scheduler in EMEA, whilst gaining exposure and experience within the Data Center sector to drive your career to the next level.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with validating schedules that have been provided by both internal & external site teams.
Supporting with collating information to share with key stakeholders within VDC to create and maintain end to end project schedules throughout the lifecycle, in line with scheduling specifications, provided by a range of customers.
Support Scheduler & Snr Planning Manager with urgent ad hoc tasks from Snr Leadership.
Complete business as usual reporting tasks and collation of information to feed dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis.
Review & collate benchmark data from projects across EMEA, to be used as standardised data during project conception.
Duties
Support EMEA Schedulers in day-to-day tasks including but no limited to:
Production of schedules to inform the company business case for a site or project.
Developing comprehensive plans that communicate the programs, projects, and strategic goals.
Representing a realistic and feasible planning approach to the ever-evolving design program across EMEA.
Communicating effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project’s goals (verbal, written, graphically).
Monitoring schedule performance data, develop data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.
Performing Time Impact Analysis.
Working with senior leadership focusing on continuous improvement to our business processes.
Implementing schedule health checks & perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis as required.
Job Requirements
Basic scheduling experience, preferably in P6.
Data Center experience is preferred, but not required.
Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects.
Experience in Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version).
Experience using Microsoft Office software tools, such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
Willing to travel across EMEA when required
