Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport ManagerJob Title – Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport ManagerSalary – £45,000 - £50,000 Per annumLocation –Heathrow AirportType – Full TimeI am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator, based in theHeathrow area who are now looking to expand their team with a brand-new role for an Operations Manager / Transport ManagerFeatures and BenefitsCompany Car / Car AllowenceCompany Pension SchemeWellbeing ServiceRetail DiscountsAssistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport Manager Duties:Drive engagement with driving team and customersCarry out driver appraisals and direct report appraisals.Improve staff skills and identify any training needs.Conduct any disciplinary, grievance or absence management reviews in accordance with Company Policy.Carry out return to work interviews, and pro-actively manage staff absence.Ensure all drivers are inducted effectively.Ensure that all driver route and type training is provided and recorded effectively.Ensure that staff welfare issues are dealt with effectively.Manage your direct reports in accordance with Rotala policies, standard operating procedures, and all relevant legislation.Dupport the Commercial and Operations Manager in delivering agreed plans and budgets, including established level of service and service quality.Ensure that the Operator’s License undertakings are adhered to.Ensure staff planning at the depot meets the operational requirements of the business.Ensure an effective working relationship with recognized trade union representatives and officials.Take the lead on a campaign to reduce accidents and injuries.Ensure the effective management of incident prevention strategies.Requirements for Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport Manager:Previous experience as an Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport Manager is essential.Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalentPSV Driving Licence is essential.Transport Managers CPC is essential.How to Apply for this Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Transport Manager role: Please get in touch with Liam on 07485 390942 for more information and to apply #####
