Assistant Merchandiser

We’re looking for a passionate Assistant Merchandiser who can help us bring our quality Percival Product to life.
As a key member of the Product and wider teams you will help in delivering and trading a compelling, commercial product collection through your organisational, communication and accuracy skills.
You will report into our Merchandiser. With four seasonal collections per year, a growing wholesale base and plenty of spicy collaborations mixed in, there is plenty of room for development and growth.
East London based, flexible WFH days, a very sociable, growing business with ambitious plans.
Personal Skills/Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, confident in building and owning various Merch reports.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, highly organised.
- Good communication skills, keen to build relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Able to make proactive, data-driven decisions within a fast paced environment.
- Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant within fashion retail.
- Some experience working with a 3PL required.
- Experience using Shopify and/or a PLM system desirable.
Duties
- Works towards key KPIs; margin, stock and OTB.
- Overseeing trade performance daily, highlighting risks and opportunity to Merchandiser.
- Works with Merch and Product to manage the production planning of key and core lines.
- Updating and reforecasting line cards weekly, proposing continuity and seasonal trade repeats to Merchandiser.
- Full ownership of sizing, raising POs within required time frame.
- Support both the Marketing channels and Wholesale division with clear, accurate visibility of product arriving into the business.
- Assist with store stock and replenishment planning, pop up store stock planning.
- Awareness of competitor market.
- Creates Monday trade report, support in seasonal analysis.
- Deputise for Merchandiser when required.
Operations
- Support Merchandiser in management of 3PL.
- Input and management of PLM system.
- Support inbound to warehouse and stock management.
- Create and issue products to Shopify via PLM.
Critical path planning and management
- Work with PD to ensure key planning dates are met and delivery targets achieved.
- Support product developers to ensure accurate data is maintained and stock is delivered on time.
- Manage purchase orders.
Provide general admin support to product team, maintain and manage dates, communication and meeting deadlines, management of range planner.
