Restaurant Assistant Manager - W1 - £38k - £42k + Bonus & Fast Progression

Ultra high volume site in W1 location, comprising 200+ cover restaurant & destination cocktail bar now requires a Senior Assistant Manager as it looks to fire the business forward in 2024. The business serves several thousand guests per week offering an excellent standard of food & service. This is a stunning building in a beautiful, high end location serving a brilliant international clientele many of whom use the restaurant on a weekly basis.

Our client is looking for a strong Assistant Manager with experience of leading a similar business & a track record of maintaining high standards with a large international team of Waiting & bar staff. The Directors are keen to hire a successful & proven entrepreneurial Assistant Manager who has a proven track record of excellent guest service. This will be a hands on Assistant Manager role - leading a team from the front & would suit someone who wants to break free from their current company constraints & shoot the lights out with their next move.

The client is looking to lock someone in for the long term with this appointment & is offering up to £42k base salary & a guarantee they will give the incoming Assistant Manager the space to make their own decisions & drive their career forward to the next step up the ladder.

The client is open to candidates from high quality restaurant or hotel restaurant backgrounds but you must have been working at Assistant Manager level for a minimum of 3 years & be used to high volume service management.

This is a Assistant Manager role that isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at Assistant Managers who are growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or Assistant Managers at that 'sweet spot' in their career who think their only two options are to either get a move managing a larger team & push for a GM role within 6 - 12 months or set up on their own. It's for Assistant Managers who know that there is a lot more to running a restaurant business than just running shifts. It's for Managers who want the term "my guests" to actually mean something. Perhaps most importantly it's for Assistant Managers in companies who don't want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing better to offer them.

If this sounds like you - send your CV over & we'll have a look a it for you.
