Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Chelmsford

Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time

Salary: �15-�16 per hour

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established organisation in the distribution industry. With a strong commitment to their customers, their team strives to provide exceptional service and support. They are currently seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join their team as an Assistant Management Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting purchase invoices and ensuring accuracy of records.
  • Reconciling the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve any queries in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in preparing payment runs.
  • Allocating bank payments and receipts and conducting monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Management Accounts.
  • Performing general office duties and responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Assisting with other accounting duties, including credit control.

Essential:

  • A proven track record working in an accounts environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a highly numerate mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and a professional approach to work.

Desirable:

  • Experience in credit control.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and relevant technologies.

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
