Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team at ADI headquarters in Oldham.As a Finance Analyst you will act as a Business Partner within ADI EMEA and local management team to ensure that our financial commitments (P&L, working capital and cash flow) are met or exceeded and ensure optimal business performance.This is a key role supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis required within ADI EMEA. The position will work with the EMEA Finance leadership team and regional finance leaders. This position is based in Oldham, UK.This role will be working in a Hybrid model Monday to Friday.JOB DUTIES:Perform monthly revenue and operating income variance analysis to understand business performanceConduct financial analysis to help drive the business including growth and financial profitability through qualitative and quantitative analysis. (Monthly, quarterly variance analysis, Product line, vendor & customer margin analysis, cost analysis, and working capital and cash flow)Work with regional finance leaders to support key finance tasks - vendor and customer rebates, IOS reporting, sales reporting, supplementary schedulesPartnering with the internal sales team to provide financial analysis and support on promotional activityContribute to continuous improvement of the FP&A organization to allow a faster response and a deeper level of analytical capability within the finance organizationSupporting the design and development of reporting, to enhance management information and analysis of the EMEA operationsAssistance with the budgeting and forecasting processesDevelop relationships with key functional leaders to assist in the validation of data analyses and drive accurate reportingPresentation of Financial data into easily understood graphical formatsSupport with analysis of cost performance, headcount and capital expenditureProvide finance support for the business functional leaders as requiredGain in depth knowledge and understanding of company terminology and processesYOU MUST HAVE:Advanced excel and PowerPoint skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office (including Access) is a plus, as is data extraction from core Enterprise Reporting Systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion).SAP experience is an advantageHighly analytical with excellent attention to detailAbility to build relationships (most notably outside of finance function), actively engage coworkers and motivate them to achieve common goals.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong internal and external customer and finance service orientation.Must be a team player with intercultural skillsDemonstrate creative thinking to resolve problems and develop succinct and concise reports, as directed by finance management.Energetic, open-minded, and enthusiastic to contribute to improvement of company goals and employee advancement.Must be fluent English speaker.WE VALUE:University degree in Finance or Business or relevant qualificationsA candidate who is actively seeking a CIMA/ACCA qualification or who has already started studying accounting qualificationsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Hybrid working modelGenuine opportunities for progressionEmployee benefits#LI-KM1#LI-ONSITEAbout UsResideo is a leading global provider of critical comfort and security solutions primarily in residential environments and distributor of low-voltage electronic and security products.
