Hybr@id (min 2 days in the office)Salary: Competitive salary DOEWe are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join the Management Accounts team and be part of the Financial Reporting function. Due to an internal project this role is for 6-9 months to support the team with the production of monthly profit and loss reports for our dental practices and ensuring the regular month end tasks are carried out to a high standard.We offer a competitive package and all the opportunities you need to excel in your role and grow the career that is right for you:A competitive salary DOEAnnual leave entitlement rising to a maximum of 27 days (plus bank hol@idays) per annum with serviceLife assuranceHealth and wellbeing benefits Access to discounts at hundreds of high-street retailersRecognition for going the extra mile and for loyalty through serviceAs an Assistant Management Accountant, your role will include:Completing month end procedures (posting journals, review overheads, cost allocations, prepayments & accruals).Working with the other Assistant Management Accountants, assist with query resolution to help our dental practice managers understand their P&L Revenue, Costs, and overall performance.Carry out any allocated Balance Sheet Reconciliations, highlighting any potential issues.Reconcile allocated regional NHS contract accounts.Review allocated overheads, @identifying and investigating variances.Support the Commercial Finance team with ad-hoc requests.As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will need:To be qualified/part qualified with a professional accounting body such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel such as vlookups and pivot tables.Ability to prioritise to ensure tight deadlines are met.Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff, practice staff and senior management.High level of attention to detail.Good understanding of double entry accounting (debits and credits).
