The market leading private equity business have an opportunity for a finance professional to work with a reputable finance team, in which they can offer hybrid home working, ACCA/CIMA study support for 'studiers' and is salaried up to £32,000.DescriptionAs Assistant Management Accountant reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside the Finance Manager, you will be successfully responsible for supporting with the preparation of the management accounts with key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, journal postings and accruals etc.In this varied role you will be also contributing to the variance analysis, cost reports and any other essential finance analysis, that will lead nicely into stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial business.Other ad hoc duties include helping out with year end audit and ownership of the ledgers for example.ProfileIdeally either AAT level 3 or 4 as well as anyone studying towards ACCA or CIMA (inc exemptions from degree).Previous experience of preparing management accounts such as (but not all) duties as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journal postings etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and representing the finance department with the wider business.Confident with Microsoft Excel and some of its formulas such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables etc.Happy to support other staff with transnational activities such as ledgers.Key eye for detail.Job OfferSalaried up to £32,000 dependent on experience and industry backgroundACCA / CIMA study support25 days annual leave + bank holidays on topFlexible hybrid home and office working (most likely 3/4 days in the office, 1/2 working from home per week)More than competitive pension schemeBuy and sell holidaysPrivate healthcareAnd many more!
