Reed Accountancy are delighted to be representing a trusted and reputable organisation, in the heart of Middlesbrough who are looking to recruit not one, but TWO, Management Accounting Assistants. These are exciting opportunities to join a friendly and supportive
team, on a Fixed-Term basis for 12 months, covering Maternity Leave. Working full-time, and with a lucrative hybrid and flexible working policy. Paying a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role?
To provide management accounting supportTo identify and analyse coding errors from the accounts listing report and prepare the journals to process the correctionsTo produce month end budget reports and prepare detailed analyses of the budget variances on a timely basis, and to inform Finance Managers in preparation for budget meetingsTo prepare detailed pay information for inclusion in the annual budgetTo monitor and provide financial support for specific projectsTo produce year end information including the prepayments and accrualsTo attend budget meetings with budget holders and Finance managers and ensure resulting actions are takenTo prepare costing information, including forecastsTo assist in the costing and pricing of externally funded projectsTo assist the External Funding Accountant to ensure accurate and timely monthly management accounts are produced and distributed ensuring financial priorities and deadlines are achievedPerform monthly reviews to analyse variances between budget and actuals The person?This is an opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team, working in a large organisation, surrounded by like-minded positive ‘go getters’ whilst furthering your accounting knowledge.
