They will however make sure that you are ready and comfortable before giving you these extra responsibilities so you can develop appropriately.This role is also open to management accountants who are qualified by experience and happy operating at this level.Role: Assistant Management AccountantLocation: NottinghamshireSalary: Up to 35,000Benefits include: Study support and hybrid working.Duties include:- Preparation of month-end management reporting packs.- Posting of journals including prepayments and accruals.- Balance sheet reconciliations.- Variance analysis between actuals and budget.- Preparation of 13-week cash flow forecasts.- Update and maintain the fixed asset register.- Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc analysis pieces.This role would suit someone who is:- Either part-qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA and actively studying, or qualified by experience at assistant management accountant or management accountant- Working to assistant management accountant level currently or higher.- Comfortable with excel and IT packages.- A good problem solver who enjoys analysing data.If this role sounds interesting, please do make sure to submit an application asap to make sure you are able to be considered.
