Assistant Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant who is eager to learn and grow within the industrial / manufacturing sector. The position is based in Leyland and will involve working closely with the Accounting & Finance department to provide financial reporting and analysis.

Description

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Participating in the development of internal control policies and procedures
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
• Performing variance analysis and identifying trends
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Supporting other accounting projects as required

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
