Assistant Management Accountant

My well-established client is looking for an Assistant Management accountant to join their business. This is an incredible opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious candidate to contribute to the growth and drive of the business.�Within the Finance Team, the position of assistant management accountant is crucial. The chosen candidate will oversee preparing the monthly management accounts, which will also include weekly and monthly reporting.
Responsibilities




  • Reviewing�indirect�cost�centres�by�examining�the�budget�and,�where�necessary,�reporting�on�discrepancies

  • Monday�morning�is�when�the�weekly�P&L�report�is�finished.

  • Completing�the�weekly�bank�reconciliation�and�communicating�with�the�teams�in�charge�of�the�purchase ledger and�the�sales�ledger�to�make�sure�any�problems�are�fixed.

  • Analysis�and�computation�of�overrider/discount�payments�that�are�reflected�in�the�accounts,�processing,�and�verification�that�the�payment�complies�with�the�written�contract�with�the�client.




About you




  • A qualified or Part-qualified accountant, or someone who is currently pursuing CIMA qualifications.

  • Someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is highly accurate.

  • Strong attention to detail is a must.

  • Must have an incredible understanding of Excel.

  • Knowledge within a management accounting role is desirable.
