Our client is an established organisation who is currently recruiting for an assistant engineering manager to join their team.
Candidates will ideally have worked within a maintenance based role previously.
Main duties will include -
In this busy and fast paced role, you will ensure that the engineering team works safely and complies with site H&S rules and food safety requirements.
Execute planned preventative maintenance across a variety of machinery and production equipment to maximise machinery up time and minimise disruption to production targets.
Ensure all plant and equipment adheres to relevant legislation in order that a safe working environment is maintained.
Fault finding, pro-active maintenance and continuous improvement.
Completing emergency maintenance in the event of equipment breakdown.
Work efficiently to ensure all electrical/mechanical engineering work is completed in a safe manner.
Ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget.
Establish maintenance policies and procedures.
Keeping a record of preventative and emergency maintenance carried out.
Ability to understand business needs, working to a defined schedule and where necessary prioritise own work accordingly.
