1st Step Solutions (M&E Recruitment Specialists) are looking for an Assistant Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor to work with our client in a permanent position based in Exeter (EX2).

Salary: £ Negotiable (dependent upon experience)
Duties: To be trained with the client to undertake a role within the commercial / accounts team, with a target of becoming qualified as a Quantity Surveyor. This will then evolve into being jointly / solely responsible with the Project Manager, for the profitability and financial success of the projects under their control and accountable for all related commercial activities, including quantity surveying, risk management, legal/contractual issues, financial issues, and staff development.
Experience required: B/Tec HNC Qualified (minimum), Understanding of mechanical & electrical services, experience working in a busy office setting, using Microsoft packages (word, excel & outlook).
