Assistant HR Manager – Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
We are seeking an experienced HR professional for an exciting role within the Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport.
With 365 bedrooms, 17 Meeting and Events rooms and a busy A La Carte Restuarant and Bar, this is a 24/7 operation where you will never be bored!

Objective of the Role
This role reports to the Hotel HR Manager.
As Assistant HR Manager, you will provide support & guidance to the team across all spectrums of the HR function and effectively support the development of our people.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support all recruitment and selection for the property, including internal hiring and succession planning.
Support new hire onboarding.
Help to drive training and development; support staff with guidance on internal development programmes.
Ensure a consistently high level of employee engagement within the hotel.
Proactively manage IR and ER issues.
Maintain employee compliance standards for the hotel, including proper HR Records and documentation.
Manage Payroll through the Time and Attendance systems; and monitor the payroll budget on a regular basis.
Requirements:
2 years in a HR role, ideally in a Hotel or customer focused environment.
Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
3rd level qualification is desired for not essential.
Experience in driving employee engagement.
Experience of payroll and cost management.
Ability to develop & build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
