Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our Operations Team and be part of our continuing growth at our Bristol Operation Centre.This role has responsibility for the performance of the whole team. Through a management team under your direct leadership, you will inspire and motivate your whole team to ensure the efficient operation of your Operation Centre and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and profitability against expectations. The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in the recruitment and development of staff and the continuous improvement of our current procedures, including Health & Safety and the efficient running of the operations centre.You will be a role model to the team, by living and demonstrating our values; Act with Integrity, Be an Owner, Challenge the Norm, Get Results and Celebrate our people. You will have the opportunity to challenge the norm and actively work with colleagues to improve service delivery and measures of engagement.To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a similar Operations management position within a customer-focused environment, adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures.If you have a passion for continuous improvement, outstanding service delivery and developing teams, we’d love to hear from you.What we need from you:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar, operations management role A proven track record of strong people management, with excellent leadership skills. Team Management experience, gained in an environment where strict Health & Safety processes must be enforced and adhered to. A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be computer literate.Customer service focused (with both internal and external customers).
