Our award-winning clients, who operate a number of high quality restaurant venues in the North of England, are looking to recruit a forward thinking assistant general manager for their Manchester city centre venue
Serving an award winning modern North African food menu, this restaurant is very much one of Manchester's shinning lights on the food scene, due to its stunning venue, modern menu and top end customer service.
We are looking to recruit a forward thinking, ambitious assistant general manager for this independent group of restaurants, the group is still small enough to still feel independent but is a big enough size to have market leading central support and systems already in place, giving the successful applicant the platform to really shine in this stunning venue.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
-Experience working in a independent restaurant operation, managing & developing a team of 20-25 f.o.h staff
-Experience delivering a 1st class hospitality & service experience, in a busy, hands-on venue
-1st rate understanding of back of house systems, costings, stock, labour and financial controls
-A professional and confident demeanor is essential, as is the ability to show the company ethos & high standards every day in service & management.
-Understanding of the latest H&S guidelines and procedures.
-Experience working in a similar sized venue, and within a management structure that see’s the AGM working alongside the GM & head chef to deliver a 1st rate hospitality service at all times.
In return our clients are offering an attractive package, with a salary of £28,000 with great tronk payments up to £8K, proven progression within the group, meals on duty & pensions scheme
