Job Description

As our Assistant General Manager, you will be providing on site operational leadership and accountability for our 528,000 SQ foot shared user site in Rockingham.
With your drive and resilience, you'll work closely with our General Manager to ensure we provide a seamless service to our customers, through commercials, profit, retention, and contractual objectives, ensuring we exceed and most importantly help drive high standards across our site.

Key Responsibilities:
Efficient and proactive leadership, ensuring our site operates offers best-in-class service for our company/ customer ways of working.
Lead, coach and provide direction to managers and colleagues in all warehouse areas, making safety a key priority through leadership and people management.
Strategic focused on delivery of sales and profit targets, with continuous improvement objectives.
Promote continuous improvement and change within the team and operation to further improve performance, engagement and profitability.
P&L, KPI and SLA responsibility, providing insight and recommendations for improvement/reporting to senior stakeholders.
Actively promote and engaging culture for our colleagues, ensuring our People values are embedded and strategic succession planning, celebration of team success is in place.
This is an onsite leadership position, which requires flexibility for 5 days out of 7 including weekends.

People and operationally driven with efficient and proactive leadership, within a fast-paced warehouse operations environment.
Experience of managing P&L and KPI delivery.
Influential and engaging leadership style, with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven time critical decision making with strong forward planning experience.
Continuous improvement focused.
Active listener and ability to motivate a diverse team through engagement and delivery.
