Assistant General Manager Biomass Power StationExcellent salary on offer + car allowance + bonusSouth YorkshireMC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assistant / Deputy General Manager to join a business that provides asset management services across the renewable energy sector in the UK. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for supporting the commercial and technical performance of a 40MW biomass power station in South Yorkshire on behalf of the plant owner. As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Working with the General Manger to ensure obligations of the main site contracts are carried out and upheld. This includes operations & maintenance, fuel supply agreement, ash removal and grid connection agreementsProviding leadership in safety throughout the business, supporting the O&M contractor, fuel supplier and other site based contractors to establish industry leading safe systems of work and safety cultureAssisting the Contract Manager in ensuring there is an efficient and effective system for the receiving, weighing and sampling of biomass fuel deliveries utilising the sites fuel teamMonitor and support performance initiatives by the O&M contractor ensuring its compliance with the O&M contractMaintain relationships with the plants other stakeholders including the Environment Agency, the network operator and the local council etcEnsuring the on site fuel testing lab works safely and effectivelyDeputising for the General Manager when required To be considered for this role you should have:
