Assistant Front of House Manager This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the running of a busy and successful Sailing Club, and the next step in your career. The Island Sailing Club is a busy waterside Members Club and events centre serving quality food, freshly prepared by our kitchen team. Due to our ongoing development, we are looking for an assistant manager to join our Front of House Manager with the day to day running of our Food & Beverage Team, and to deputise in their absence. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Assistant Manager who has a drive for progression with a love for all things food and drink and a passion for excellent service to help lead our small, committed team. Calm under pressure, with a good eye for detail, ideally you will have a grounding in large volume functions and events and great communication skills. KEY BENEFITS

THE ROLE You will work closely with the Front of House Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the Bars & Restaurant. Involved in the future planning and the direction of the business. You need to be confident in leading and developing your team whilst following company processes. Demonstrable experience of working at assistant manager level would be a great start. Assist the Front of House Manager in the day to day running of the operation. Support the Front of House Manager in the ongoing training, development, and performance management of the team. Take part in and be part of event management team, developing events programme, literature, communications, and plans. Be hands-on in your approach. Always exceed customer expectations by supervising the front of house in a relaxed but professional way. Ensure the Health and Safety Policy is always implemented, and that any issues that arise are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
