The RoleTo assist with the fixed asset, stock, and business rate queries and raise property-related sundry debtors along with maintaining the utility master database, facilitating any change in tenancy agreements, and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Duties Working closely with two Assistant Financial Accountants supporting capital expenditure projects, issuing the unique project reference numbers upon receipt of appropriate project documentationAssisting with resolving prior financial years' outstanding business rates reclaims queries by contacting via email and telephone local authorities regarding bill anomalies, or the NHS for reclaim anomaliesAssisting with the preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation for all site disposals and acquisitions ensuring that reconciliation balances agree to the nominal ledger and liaising with stakeholders to ensure all outstanding issues are @identified, reconciling the fixed asset register to the accounting system and fixed asset reviews at practicesAssisting with the review of practice stocktakes highlighting errors or high values for further reviewRaising all monthly and quarterly property-related sales invoices and credit notes and posting them to the ledgers and preparing all property-related monthly balance sheet reconciliations and dealing with any queriesMonth-end procedures posting journals, working to deadlines set, and assisting with the monthly VAT reconciliation and quarter-end VAT returnLiaising with the Estates department Project Co-ordinator to ensure changes in tenancy forms are completed accurately to val@idate meter changesReviewing and maintaining the utilities master database, including @identifying electric, gas, and water meters that are not on the {my}dentist main supplier contract logging any utilities queries with Thermatic, and prov@iding monthly summary reporting on outstanding queriesSupporting ad-hoc financial projects I would be great at that!
