It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances. It does not form part of your contract of employment.Key TasksOverall responsibility for Nexus bookwork closure.Provide ad hoc analysis of sales data.Finalise flash and review with HODs on a weekly basis – propose improvements to commerciality.Analyse and investigate with HODs any variances in stock, GP%, LTS, etc.Create labour reports and send out to managers to review.Work with Account Director and Group Finance Manager to produce any ad hoc client requests.Responsible for ensuring Foodbuy Online is up to date.Analyse purchasing compliance & review with team.Responsible for onsite financial controls including profit protection audits.Assist in training of operational teams in the use of business reporting to understand and improve their financial performance.Raise Purchasing Order on behalf of the client.Update client’s dashboard.Other Areas of ResponsibilityAble to train Nexus support and operations in admin tasks.Unit related general accounting queries.Assist with Foodbuy.Responsible for maintenance of EPOS.Assist with daily reporting.Credit card reconciliations as required.Responsible for general administration.Soft SkillsPassionate about accuracy of work.Communication & presentation - all stakeholders are kept up to date on relevant issues which are communicated clearly.Eye for detail to spot trends and errors.Prioritisation & organisation - able to complete all tasks on time to high standard.Adaptable - able to change approach and willing to learn new ways of working.Analysis – able to summarise large data sets concisely.Hard SkillsIntermediate excel skills.Good level of spoken & written English.Desirable Experience & QualificationsMinimum two years of experience in a financial role in catering and hospitality industryAbout UsRestaurant Associates provides brilliant hospitality through our food, drink and services.
