Then you're in the right place!We are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our M&S Clothing & Home operation at Bradford. You will ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financial accounts and develop strong business relationships with operations and commercial teams, through involvement in decision making and performance reporting.This role is being offered on a full-time, 12month fixed term basis. The hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Your start time is flexible between 08:00 and 09:00 to suit you, there is also some flexibility to work from home 1 day per week once you are established within the role.Pay, benefits and more:You'll be paid a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, you'll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. There's also our continued focus on internal promotions, over 55% last year!GXO are also proud to be an ACMA and ACCA approved employer.What you'll do on a typical day:Create and maintain reports, provide analysis for the management team and ensure robust financial controls are in line with SOX compliance standardsLead, manage and coach a small team of finance assistants to achieve expectations - you will bring the team together ensuring everyone is working towards a common goal, in order to service multiple contracts for M&S onsiteYou will be responsible for the management accounts, ensuring they are produced to the appropriate standard and providing support to the finance assistants where necessaryOwnership of the month end process including balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adequate controls are in placeWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Proven finance experience in a fast paced, dynamic warehousing or logistics environmentExperience in producing financial reports and analysis with meaningful commentaryExperience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBe an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage, challenge and empower othersAAT Level 4 or equivalent as a minimum, consideration will be given to substantial QBEWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains. #LI-LB2GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
