Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join an award-winning facilities management company based at their clients manufacturing site In Sudbury. Salary: �30,000 per year

Permanent - Full Time 40hrs

Role:

• Oversee and ensure compliance within the soft services departments aligning with the client's health and safety protocols.
• Coordinate the day-to-day service delivery, maintaining statutory, mandatory, and contractual compliance across the soft services department.
• Assist in managing the site in the absence of the Facilities Manager, supporting the development of business strategies to meet current and emerging client needs.
• Lead a culture of safety, ensuring all Safeguard administration and logistical operations prioritise health and safety.
• Manage, train, and support the on site team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and employee engagement.
• Optimise operational efficiency and profitability, working closely with the FM Manager and utilising systems such as Kronus and Eprofit.

What you bring:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience in facilities management, particularly in waste management within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proven ability to manage training, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
• A track record of successful people management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
