Assistant Electrical Manager

Assistant Electrical Engineering Manager required. Bennett and Game are currently representing a very well-established Electrical company that specialise in Power Generation equipment in Manchester who are seeking an Assistant Electrical Manager. The ideal candidate would come from either an Electrical or Landfill Gas background, have a recognised senior electrical engineering qualification, experience with power generation equipment and hold a full UK driving license.

Assistant Electrical Manager Position Overview

• Responsible for the management and supervision of electrical installation modifications.
• Ensure all staff members are adhering to company and customer specifications.
• To utilise and improve the company's operations procedures, manuals and recording stock control systems
• To deliver commissioned and tested solar energy and gas energy projects into the operations phase alongside the projects department
• Help develop fault finding manuals for electrical equipment being worked on by the engineers
• To liaise with other departments with regards to upgrading and improving specifications
• To ensure all staff members are adhering to health and safety and quality standards set out by the company
• To manage the quality control and the fault reporting of new plant equipment

Assistant Electrical Manager Position Requirements

• Experience with power generation equipment, e.g. CHP, Solar and Energy Storage Systems
• HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition and EIT
• Gassafe accreditation, or willingness to obtain during probation
• Previous experience with electrical control systems - 12v DC - 415V
• Previous experience working on Gas Engine systems, CAT, Perkins, MAN, MWM and Cummins
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Electrical maintenance, control systems and commissioning new equipment
• Experience managing budgets and reporting

Assistant Electrical Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary: �55,000 - �57,000 DOE
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
