I am currently working with a recognised Contractor in their search for an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their growing team based in Newry. This company is renowned delivering bespoke fit-out schemes within the cruise ship industry. Due to continuous growth they now seek an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their Newry team, managing a variety of prestigious schemes across the globe.

The Role:
Overall responsibility for the successful contract delivery, including managing client relationships, budget preparation, and ensuring adherence to company KPIs and health and safety requirements.
Coordination and oversight of procurement, scheduling, and manpower allocation in conjunction with relevant departments (Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics).
Chairing weekly project status review meetings and providing weekly reports on project progress to maintain transparency and address issues promptly.
Management of all contractual variances, subcontractor activities, and site installation in collaboration with the Commercial Department to ensure project alignment with contractual obligations.
Leadership and direction to Assistant Contract Managers / Project employees, fostering a cohesive team environment and managing projects across various global locations.
The Person:
Ideally previous experience managing similar projects from inception through to completion
At least 1 years working in a construction/ fit out environment as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager or hold a degree in a Construction related degree
Must be willing to travel for the length of each project (1-6 weeks depending on the project length)
