Assistant Contracts Manager - House Builder

I am working with a privately owned development business based in Northamptonshire seeking to appoint an Assistant Contracts Manager to work alongside the Operations Director and assist in the delivery of 3 developments consisting of 6 units and 100 + units in Northamptonshire and a 26 unit scheme in Finchley, North London.
Due to the size of the business, from time to time you would be required to base yourself on one of the Northamptonshire sites.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/ SSSTS

• CSCS Managers Black card/ Supervisors Gold card

• NRSWA

• First aid at work

• Temporary works

• Driving License (On site vehicle)

Experience

• Experience of Managing contractors

• Previous Site Management experience with a House Builder


• Reading and understanding design plans

• Understanding ground works and roads infrastructure

• Understanding of drainage Infrastructure

• Understanding of Utility infrastructure

• Writing and reviewing RAMS

• Permit systems

• Working with Quality plans and ITP`s.

• IT skills

• NHBC / Premier or similar experience

• Confident and good communicator

• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.

• Propose solutions for consideration rather than post boxing problems.

• Organisation and leadership

• Basic salary between £55,000 - £65,000
