About the role
We are investing in our established and market leading UK and Ireland Economics service to help our clients deliver investment and regeneration.
If you have an economics, geography or planning academic background and want to make a real difference to the prospects of places and the wellbeing of people – we would like to hear from you.
To fulfil a more senior role we would expect a good number of years experience in development consultancy, economics or economic development. Through our national client base, we work across different towns and cities on land and funding bids, masterplans, investment plans and Local Plan policy evidence. We help our clients to measure and maximise their economic and social impacts as well as ensuring positive health and social infrastructure provision. Our work supports the development holistic and sustainable economic and social value strategies and makes the case for private sector investment and public funding for places.
We are seeking a passionate graduate, consultant and/or senior consultant, who can demonstrate drive and curiosity, excellent communication, analytical, research and report-writing skills as well as confidence in working with and presenting data. You should have a degree or an equivalent level in planning/geography/economics or a related discipline in a similar field. This role is open to full time or part time working.
Assistant or Consultant
At the Assistant or Consultant level, you will be responsible for supporting work winning and delivering projects. You will be accountable for undertaking analysis and research, writing reports and presenting to clients and stakeholders.
Senior Consultant
At the Senior Consultant you will be accustomed to engaging with clients and be expected to take a leading role in the delivery of projects. You will also be expected to undertake your own business development and assist wider work-winning across the team.
