In addition to providing all types of forklift trucks, from powered pallet trucks to wire-guided systems, Rushlift hires and maintains a wide range of industrial equipment such as sweepers, mobile plants, and lorry loader cranes.
About the role:
Here at Rushlift, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to be an essential part of the running of the Finance Team, by liaising with banks for asset funding and supporting the business function to meet targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and post depreciation journal for month end
Maintain truck inventory on the balance sheet
Assist in Reconciliation of balance sheet schedules
Assist Finance Manager in preparing monthly actual results, forecast and KPI’s
Reconcile self-billing schedules and allocate cash to invoices
Compile quarterly VAT returns
Analyse contents and coding of nominals
Generate consolidated invoices for key business partners
Maintain billing contracts for customers in the KEY system
Track all fleet purchases for HP commitments
Maintain HP Schedules and submit Finance Lease proposals to banks
Settle finance agreements at the end of their term or at point of sale
Carry out annual audits of our KEY system
Assist Finance Manager with year-end audits and ad hoc requests
About You:
Graduate / Part Qualified Accountant
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management skills
Able to multitask
Confident telephone manner
Experience preferred in Navision & Key
Strong Excel Skills
Must have experience in working in a busy office environment & able to work under pressure
