Looking for an exceptional career opportunity in Finance? Join our client, a fantastic business based in Exeter as their Assistant Accountant. You'll have the chance to play a lead role in the financial operations of this high-growth group and work closely with the Finance Manager and key stakeholders across the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements accurately.
Assist in budget development and monitoring for business growth.
Creating monthly management accounts and providing insights.
Manage purchase ledger.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Bank account reconciliations.
Payroll preparation and compliance.
Assist in the annual audit process.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
AAT Qualified or Part Qualified.
Previous experience in a similar company accountant role.
Proficient in bookkeeping and management accounts.
