This role will mainly provide support to the Finance Manager to ensure the completion of all monthly reconciliations. This role would suit someone with a three years’ experience or a graduate looking to kick start their career in a fantastic stable business. This is a great career move for someone looking to progress with the offer of study support and progression.Package & Benefits:Remote working with two days in the office a weekGenuine opportunity to progress within a global business25 days holiday + statsFantastic exposure and experience in a large fast paced business.Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:Calculate quarterly intercompany recharges, billing for royalty/license fees and monthly intercompany accruals.Reconcile intercompany loans between the Group Treasury System and SAP.Prepare management accounts for two companies.Monthly reporting of results for two companies to the Group.Process monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with external parties in a timely manner.Preparing a Group FX analysis on a monthly basis. Complete budget and forecast templates.Process general ledger accounting journals in SAP and the Group Treasury System.Complete national statistics returns.Ensure internal and external customer queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packsRequired Skills & Experience:AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCAA comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and the interaction of ledgers would be advantageous but not essentialKnowledge of treasury functions would be advantageous but not essential e.g. intercompany loansConfident communicator both verbally and writtenAbility to juggle work load and adaptStrong problem solverIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.Chase & Holland acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
