manufacturing/engineering
business, based in Lowton, require an experienced Accountant/Finance Controller for a minimum 10-month fixed term contract.As the Assistant Financial Controller, your duties will be:Assist with budget preparation.Manage, control and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Assist in month end processing.Consolidation of UK & European accounts.To oversee and assist in the day-to-day VAT Returns, Invoices, Aged Creditors and Debtors etc.Prepare accurate and timely journals.The ideal Assistant Financial Controller will hold the following skills and experiences:Have solid experience working in a Finance/Accounting department.Must be minimum part qualified AAT.Experience of Syspro/SAP or Sage is ideal.Strong IT skills including Excel spreadsheets/pivot
tables/formatting/Lookups
and all Microsoft Office functions.Knowledge of fixed
assets/depreciation/AP/AR/credit
