Job Description Assistant Accountant (hybrid) duties:A small amount of transactional duties across both the sales and purchase ledger (processing invoices etc.)Quarterly VAT returnsAssisting with auditMonth end closure (bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments etc.)Trial balance sheetAd-hoc duties The Successful Applicant Assistant Accountant (hybrid) criteria:Previous experience in an educational establishment would be ideal but NOT essentialFinance experience in a similar roleIntermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, formulas etc.)Ability to communicate with the wider teamCommutable distance to Bristol 1/2 x a week What's on Offer Assistant Accountant (hybrid) benefits:Base salary around £35,000 per annumLots of flexibility with the option of 3/4 days WFH and flex hoursHigh likelihood of a permanent offer after the six months contractPositive working environment with excellent facilities
