Recognized technicalauthority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercialawareness.The Asset Servicing Lead Analyst role iswithin ICG Custody Operations. Asset Servicing is represented Globallyacross the NAM, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions. The Asset Servicingdepartment is an integral part of the ICG O&T division and hasresponsibility for processing Corporate Actions, Income, Event Captureand Proxy events. It is one of the highest risk areas withinoperations.The role requires the individual to have extensiveSME knowledge in Asset Servicing inclusive of controls and proactiverisk management practices. Proven track record in implementingsystemic Asset Services risk management and oversight controlsessential. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Excellentcommunication skills are required to negotiate internally andexternally, often at a senior level. Applies in-depth understanding ofthe business impact of technical contributions and generallyaccountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or morebusinesses/ geographic regions.The successful candidate will beresponsible for supporting the execution of Global Simplification andStandardization systemic strategy, driving consistency across globalprocesses and controls within the group, aligning to the AssetServicing, Custody Ops and Company strategy and vision.Organisational Risk Oversight:Key contributor to theexecution of simplification and standardization across globalprocesses and controlsIdentify underlying root cause todrive risk reduction and proactive risk managementDemonstrates ability to offer solutions at an advanced levelRecommends and implements systems and procedural enhancements forAsset ServicingProvide operational requirements toOperational Readiness and Technology for deliveryExecutionof UAT SME scenarios and prod parallel testingExecute riskreduction initiatives and proactive risk management tools includingbut not limited to executive dashboards, workflow and exceptionmanagement in partnership with Asset Servicing Senior Simplificationand Standardization Manager, Custody Ops Transformation team andRegional Asset Servicing HeadsDocument and execute thestandards and best practices for Global Asset Servicing processes andcontrols. Identify any gaps, assess approach to close and executeremediation to achieve global consistencySupports deep diveSME process and control reviews inclusive of requirement input.Support any ORM process and control reviews partnering with risk &control, product and technologyExecute on process andcontrol enhancements identified by process re-engineering and deepdivesPartner with BAU processing leads to drive theexecution of the global simplification strategy.People & Culture Agenda:Continue to contribute tothe overall firms Culture and Talent Goals.Contribute tothe execution of the People and Engagement strategy.Leadand co-ordinate change following VOE results.Establish andcontribute to Global Training Framework. Adhere to Training approachfor new starts with training modules and training plans.
