Location: Hybrid – aligned to nearest ISS OfficeHours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentWorking for a prestigious client, the Asset Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of our asset and estate portfolio, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities across the client’s group portfolio.This position involves providing comprehensive support, advice and guidance on technical matters related to maintenance, investment and standards. With a focus on maximising value, minimising costs and time, and achieving desired quality standards, the Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing asset changes and maintenance activities across a portfolio of around 300 sites (retail branches and corporate offices) across the UK.This is a full-time role with a central focus on optimising asset management practices and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.ResponsibilitiesActive participation and support in existing internal and external Audits across the client’s building portfolioDevelopment of ongoing asset strategiesDevelop operational processes and procedures to add value to and comply with ISS Quality StandardsProvide support to the account operational team as requestedAssisting the client’s development of their record keeping and items monitoredEnsuring records are held and available to support the contract KPI’s, audits & reportingTo support other areas of the account and division as requiredEnsure compliance with all defined internal procedures and legal requirementsDesign, implement and manage and appropriate governance model for managing client escalations, to provide a level of reassurance and comfort to the client and being a single point of contact for escalation informationAudit supplier & consultancy activitySupport development of client investment strategies through trend analysisAbout YouA proven track record in asset management (with M&E/Engineering qualification) and demonstrable working experience in building services or similar (including M&E asset management).Strong track record of delivering business improvement and change in a complex environment, and experience of reducing cost and improving efficiency.Excellent knowledge of reliability engineering, reliability centred maintenance, technical standards, processes and relevant legislation.Effective problem solver, able to apply analytical and challenging approach to complex issues.Excellent analytical and reporting skills.Good organisational skillsEffective influencing and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.Please note – as this is a national role, you must be comfortable with UK wide travel.The CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
