Asset Manager

A boutique real estate investment manager partnered with PE and Institutional partners and focused on the central London market, is seeking an Asset Manager to join their team.Role responsibilities:Being a small team, the individual will have a varied and wide ranging role:Core areas:Property Management (NB. this is overseeing external managing agents):‘On board’ new transactionsOversight of ‘Day to day’ property and asset managementOverseeing tenant applications for sub-letting, assignment or alterations.Asset Management:Assisting with the formation of asset management strategies for existing assets and prospective purchases.Execution of AM initiatives, including items such as capex programmes.Third-party managementLeasing:Working with agents to set letting / marketing strategies for assets.Co-ordinating agents to let and sell properties as appropriate.Preparing Heads of Terms with agents.Other areas this individual will get involved in:Investment:Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities.Actively promote the business, with new and existing contacts in the investment market.Development:Working with Technical teams and agents on specification, design and layout of developments and financial viability (mainly coordinating other professionals).Development site visits to review status of ongoing projects.Candidate Profile:Likely Chartered Surveyor but not essentialProbably from a management background with experience of different clients and assetsMost likely 1/2 years PQEUnderstanding of Landlord and tenant issuesCandidates must be happy to work in a small team.
