We are recruiting.....Asset Care Engineering Technician

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Maintenance Asset Care Technician within the Engineering Department at Muller Severnside.

The Role of the Asset Care Technician will be based in the Utilities Plant areas to carry out operational and maintenance tasks in house including lubrication, visual inspection, condition based monitoring, valve maintenance and workshop & plant-based activities

Contract: Full Time

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 2 days / 2 nights (7 -7)

Location: Severnside Dairy - Stroud

Key Responsibilities
To ensure effective handover of information across shift
Carry out planned preventative maintenance to agreed schedules for the following equipment:
Weekly & daily checks including but not limited to waste water, steam & combustion and refrigeration/cooling equipment
Maintain all rotational spares; valves, instruments etc & carry out CIL schedule.
Standard operating conditions set up and maintain
To observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
To service adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
To use the CMMS system effectively recording information accurately.
Utilise CMMS historical data for improvement initiatives
To use CMMS historical data for fault trending and quick resolution for fault finding
Support the Site roadmaps for Quality / H S / EMS / Engineering / Autonomous maintenance.
Support improvement activities / events within facilities and engineering owned areas
Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business OGSM
Aware of how current performance impacts the bottom line Key Skills & Experience
Waste water plant operation/maintenance experience desired
Knowledge of utilities plant such as cooling towers, refrigeration systems etc considered
Electrical or mechanical experience
Asset care experience is beneficial
Experience working in a processing or utilties environment.
